Four centuries of history
Le Manoir du Butel was built between 1630 and 1640 by Guillaume de la Gonivière, in the style typical of Norman manors of the time. Its granite walls and slate roofs bear witness to four centuries of history.
Nestled in the Norman bocage, at Saint-Symphorien-les-Buttes in the commune of Saint-Amand Villages, the estate comprises three characterful buildings surrounded by gardens and meadows.
The Lemariey family has restored the manor with care and passion, blending the authenticity of the place with modern comfort to welcome you in the best possible conditions.
The Estate
Three characterful buildings make up the Manoir du Butel estate
The Main House
The 17th-century dwelling, historic heart of the estate. This is where you will find the dining room where breakfast is served and the reception areas.
The Charretterie
A former cart shed, fully renovated. It houses the manor bed & breakfast rooms as well as a shared lounge. The gîte occupies a separate, fully self-contained building.
The Outbuildings
The annex buildings complete the estate and add to the charm of the architectural ensemble. Free parking and garden available to guests.
